You have way more power in tense situations than you think you do -- so use it! There's no good reason for you to be doubting your potency right now, so why are you? If you need to be reminded of how important you are, get with your friends or family members and just hang out, just be you. You don't have to ask them for an ego boost (and you definitely shouldn't hint around for it). Just be genuine and relaxed and you'll start to feel better about yourself before you know it.
